As many small businesses start from just an idea, hope, and prayer to an actual fully operational business, Spaces by Bella is no different.  The owner, Natalie Sanchez, left her corporate job in search of creating a company that would be built on the premise of bringing value and meaning to customers. 

Growing up always intrigued by real estate and interior design, she narrowed her vision to start a home staging business.  Bella Staging & Design was established and has been serving the Charlotte, NC market since 2015, staging vacant and model homes for homeowners, investors, and builders.  After studying the furniture rental options that were available, Natalie identified a gap in high-style, quality rentals, that were also affordable.  The next step was evident (and is now funny to look back on!)  Like many start-ups, Natalie started buying furniture and storing the pieces in her garage.  As the business grew, she realized that the Charlotte market was wanting a fresh, high-end look to help sell properties that were hitting the market.      

The addition of Spaces by Bella (a “sister” company of Bella Staging & Design) seemed like a natural transition, with the realization that there was still a consumer need for attractive furniture rentals, especially now more than ever before.  Supply chain issues have created a mess in the furniture industry, and we felt very drawn to use our already extensive inventory to help.  Expanding our services to create our e-commerce platform meant we could broaden our reach to customers who needed rentals, no matter what stage of life they were in.  By offering short and long-term rentals, at a monthly rate, we could help to create an “at home” feel, even if you are in an in-between season of life.  With our 8,000 sq. ft. warehouse, internal moving team, and staff of design professionals, we knew we could help roll out to the market a new, fresh look…furniture rentals with STYLE. 

We understand that many people are in a place where investing in buying furniture may not be in the cards, or there are those that just don’t want to pressure of committing quite yet.  Buying furniture and somehow lugging it back home is a pain, and furniture assembly will make you question your moral compass by the four-letter words that may leave your mouth.  Design is so subjective, so some may need a bit more guidance or reassurance that “pulling together” a room will come out the way one would hope.

Our main goal is to provide a personalized approach, every step of the way.  We are a small business (see our smiling faces on our Meet the Team! page 😊), which means we care.  Every customer we help is in turn helping us to continue expanding our offerings.  We are a team of folks who love a good laugh, don’t take life too seriously, and have a deep appreciation for pretty spaces.
